  February 19, 2015 - Dark red.
  Early maturity nose that is small, non-descript and not very interesting.
  In the mouth this is primarily a very fine cassis wine with a cold, menthol constitution. Small tannins and acids resting on the beautiful contours of maturing fruit of good intensity. Complexity level is only medium, but deliciousness is high!
  Did incredibly well with the Homer dinner, but not quite what I'd bring to a greater restaurant.
  Wife: 85 (unbalanced, strange acidity.)
  
  Homer restaurant tonight serving tempura small fish that was terrible, nano-hana that was over boiled, but the chicken stew with the year's first bamboo shoots was sublime as was the perfectly red-wine-garliced wagyu with ruccola in Clos Mogador's olive oil.

  June 11, 2011 - A friend and I tasted this at the winery on 6/11/11. It had a pleasant and elegant bouquet of violet, plum, raspberry, baking spice, coffee and mocha aromas. The palate was balanced and velvety smooth with flavors that followed the nose.
