July 7, 2017 - This was marvelous. At the peak of drinking window I'd think. Still fruit freshness, leather and cedar, strawberry and blackcurrant, deep richness, silky mouthfeel, spicy finish, lovely tannic integration.

August 26, 2014 - rich style. Big red fruits. Some nice balance though so high alc did not intrude. Some nice smoky overtones too.

July 31, 2014 - Opened late in the evening, so probably didn't enjoy the subtleties of this, but still a delicious wine. Save last bottle to enjoy in 2-3 years at least.

June 8, 2014 - 20% Grenache, 30% Garnacha Peluda, 30% Cabernet, 20% Carignan.
After a 1 hour decant - good expression of the Grenache and Carignan flavour profiles, full bodied as might be expected with the generous helping of Cabernet, and feels even more alcoholic than the 14.5% (probably owing to the 24C room temperature; I suppose we should have given it an hour in the fridge, start decanting at 10C and drink at 18C). Medium-long finish.
After 90 min, fairly vibrant with fig, cassis, raspberry and red current notes. Wood is present but isn't too strong. Fairly accessible. I would drink this relatively early while other Priorat bottles requiring more time mature in the cellar.
Partner recognised the region blind "because it's nice". It is very nice, and we do like Grenache blends.
Works well with mildly-spiced Indian lamb and potatoes.
Best on the first evening (90); doesn't perform as well on the second (87-88, needs to breath 30+ min - from a small bottle to which 200ml was poured immediately after opening, getting little exposure to air apart from the pouring process).
