May 20, 2023 - This was perfect with our BBQ chicken tonight, definitely drink now if you've not already - Brick in colour, the rim amber in colour, spicy cinammon, plum, cherry, pepper on the nose, sweet, complex on the palate with excellent length, fully integrated and surprisingly not hot on the palate considering the almost 16% alc. really tasty with our meal and a perfect pairing, but I have to say once again, if you have any left in your cellars drink up!! (92 Points).

March 24, 2021 - Paler plum-red (fading).
Full promising nose - evolves in the glass, spice (mace/nutmeg), liquorice, leather.
Medium-full bodied, black berry fruit, cinnamon stick spice, pepper. -

May 27, 2020 - Very dark. Nose of dark fruit and herb. This is powerful and tannic, hard to penetrate. Perhaps I will leave the last bottle for a few years

January 1, 2020 - Cherry, raspberry, lavender and earth on the nose. Tastes like blackberry, cherry, black and green olive, pepper, earth, and herbs. Amazing balance: just a bit of tannin bite, with bright acidity on the tongue but not going down.

December 25, 2019 - Good plummy dark color. Good bright cherry fruit with lavender and resolved tannin giving it a complex finish. Found this quite enjoyable and better than most recent CT reviews have painted it. En magnum with Christmas dinner. Excellent.
