July 29, 2007 - A qpr champion, this bottle, enjoyed over two days, was rich, well balanced, and better on the second day. Flavors were of red fruits and pepper with an unobtrosive but adequate acidity and a hint of ending dusty tannin. Went well with meals, and then on its own as well. Picked up on a closeout sale, this confirmed for me Concannon's solid reputation.
