March 17, 2024 - Quite a dense mid ruby. Mid red fruit, some development, quite rich. Surprisingly weighty in the mouth. Village complexity with premier cru texture, just not obviously Volnay. Enjoyable. Early maturity with time in hand. Holds surprisingly well overnight. ***

July 30, 2021 - Still very young with rich, concentrated fruit and structure, especially for a village Volnay. Firm to start but softens with air to develop more interesting floral accents.

January 16, 2021 - Still quite young and takes 30 minutes to open up. Deliciously loaded with red cherry, violets and spice. Plump, ripe fruit that is fresh. Still has upside as this gains additional nuance.

September 6, 2015 - Really nice blueberry and cherry nose. The cherry fruit palate is deep and were it not for a somewhat obtrusive toasted oak flavor I would rate a couple points higher.

December 16, 2013 - Fantastic nose of bright red fruits, morning dew, exotic spices and lilac. Very lively and energetic on the palate with great persistence, boasting juicy, crystalline red fruit and vivid slate minerality. Excellent finishing tart red berry acidity mingles with sweet spices and orange peel. Delicious now, but with a long life ahead. Drink or hold.
