February 26, 2022 - 2007 Barolo Zoom tasting. Drank in Conterno Sensory.
Appearance is clear, pale intensity, garnet colour. Legs.
Nose medum+ intensity with aromas of slight VA and funk that blew off, redcurrant, red plum, slightly stewed caramelized red berries, roasted earth, mushroom background. Developed.
On the palate, dry, high acidity, medium+ alcohol, velvet textured soft high tannins, full body. Medium+ flavour intensity, with flavours of savoury mushroom roasted earth, red plum, stewed redcurrant, sour plum, oaky spices. Dust + more earth with more air. Long finish with sour plums.
Good quality. Perhaps reflecting a bit much of the ripe stewed character. Time to drink up.

February 23, 2021 - I am generally not a huge fan of Boglletti's wines but this was a pleasant surprise: mature, complex and long - interesting wine

October 18, 2018 - Listen to the other tasting notes. Debate....debate. Only a little bit of sediment, but it needs to aerate to bring forth a wonderful bouquet, smooth taste and finish. Had with a meat lasagna. Absolutely wonderful.

September 30, 2018 - This was great after about 1.5 to 2 hours. Definitely decant it first!!

January 15, 2018 - ....definitely need an hour or 2 to develop. Started too plummy and some barnyard and then went to a very dry, cherry cola after 2 hours,
