May 30, 2022 - Still a big wine without much nuance. Plenty of life but not likely to improve.

October 4, 2017 - In a really good spot. Still very fruit dominant, tannins and oak well integrated, and drinking at peak likely.

October 30, 2016 - Required about a 3 hour decant to come around. Unique complexity and elegance.

June 29, 2016 - Rich, full bodie, dark fruit, earthy, soft tannins

May 21, 2016 - This bottle has been cellared since I bought it shortly after its release. It demonstrated that a well constructed bordeaux blend will gain complexity and grace with age. Deep garnet with cassis on the nose and on the palate with secondary flavor of vanilla. Tannins have smoothed and the finish is long.

(Adams Bench The Reckoning Red Wine Columbia Valley) Dark ruby. An aromatically appealing wine with red and black fruit, herbal notes, spice, and bittersweet chocolate. The palate’s graceful red and black fruit flavors belie firm, chewy tannins. 51% Merlot, 38% Cabernet Sauvignon, 11% Cabernet Franc. 14.9% alcohol. 546 cases produced. Sample provided by winery.
