July 9, 2015 - Medium-dark plum in colour; musty blueberry and other dark fruit on nose; cherries and some strawberry on the palate, followed by a mid-range finish.

June 22, 2012 - Paired exceptionally well with a dinner in Steamboat Springs. I didn't see the bottle, since this was by the glass, so this is probably the right one from Russian Hill Estate, but not certain (year is correct). This was light, balanced, and tasty.

February 6, 2012 - My wife and I did a Sunday night home wine tasting. Tasted with 08 Eric Kent Russian River Valley, 09 Pali Wine Co. Pinot Noir Bluffs, 09 Roessler Pinot Noir Hein Family Vineyard.
Not sure if this was corked or beginning to be corked? Initial flavors of mushrooms and slight moldy flavor. We noticed that after about an hour this flavor diminished and with vigorous aeration it turned fruitier. -
