December 18, 2016 - Nice inexpensive Bordeaux. Fairly well balanced but not overly complex. Brambly, leather, fine textured tannins and a bit of acidity. Not much of a fruit profile, the fruit that's there is ripe and dark, blackberry/blueberry jam. The finish is medium in length.

August 27, 2012 - Excellent selection from the WSJ. Smooth and very complex. Nice finish. Perfect accompaniement to grilled lamb chops.

August 19, 2012 - Quite lovely, bigger/ stands on its own more than you would expect from an Old World wine

May 5, 2012 - Surprisingly good wine with an attractive nose, good dark fruit, and good balance. Very enjoyable red with old world sensibility.
