Community Tasting Notes 2

  • GJudd Likes this wine: 90 points

October 1, 2016 - Still had bright red fruits and was vibrant. Greatly enjoyed with a Mediterranean meal.

November 3, 2012 - The nose is hard to describe with herbaceous petroleum characters and dense blackcurrant characters, this is my first exposure to the variety and it is certainly interesting and challenging.

The palate has excellent texture with layers of drying leathery dark fruits, the tannins are leafy and combine with firm acidity to keep the wine light on its feet. The finish is long and herbaceous.
