June 15, 2010 - Impressive aged nose but on the palate it is a little bit weak.
Quite short aftertaste which leaves me unimpressed. Good acidity though and definitely worth drinking.

October 4, 2009 - Very good decanted and drinking at il mondo vechi in Madison very disapointed they decanted away from the table but the wine is smooth with soft tanins and nice grape - with soft leather

August 8, 2009 - Bown all over. Dusty roasted, prune nose. Not right at all. Lots of acid in the nose and palate. Probably heat damaged.

January 17, 2009 - nose: savory and luscious nose that strikes you right off the bat with loads of roasted herbs and various cured and smoked meats that then gives way into mature tones of dark florals, leather, and lush black cherries. Fully mature and very polished that is a real joy to smell

taste: Lovely texture with a medium feel with good medium+ acidity providing tones of cured meats, violets, loads of herbs, black cherries, and all sorts of various spices that are hard to put a definite finger on

overall: This is drinking great right now and can certainly go a good time longer. At its full maturity, this is a perfect example of a fully mature brunello and is a real joy to smell and drink. Lush and lovely with a touch of femininity, this just did everything just right and scratched me right where I itched

February 24, 2008 - Past it's prime. Little fruit left - a very flat wine.
