October 14, 2023 - From a magnum. Beautiful bouquet, rich palate sensation, long finish. Drank over 3 hrs and lots to share. Drink or hold if it’s a magnum.

September 4, 2020 - This one is in a perfect window right now. Very present oak characteristics but not overdone. Acidity was medium but nice tropical notes. Unctuous for sure, the viscosity was notable and the finish was lengthy. These Chards never disappoint.

May 25, 2019 - Beautiful; especially after 1 hour. The tropical really started to come out on the tail end (pineapple). I always get delicious pineapple with Shibumi Knoll. The butterscotch was clearly apparent from the start. Definitely Cali chard; no mistaking for white Burg., but delicious for what it is!

June 30, 2018 - Drank well over 45 min. Partial decant, beautiful straw color, lots of mineral on the palate. Just really good.

May 25, 2018 - Quite mature with not too much time left for this beauty. Initially a bit closed, but with time and a little warming, it was everything we hoped for. The crisp tropical and citrus shine through a backdrop of honeyed spices and some mild oak. This is a great Chardonnay!
