September 5, 2013 - Pleasant nose of pineapple, smoke, gooseberry, chalk, stone fruit, earth, flowers, a little honey, and a hint of rubber cement. Lime and lemon, smokey stone fruit, and earth on the light palate. Decent acidity, though could use more. Palate fades a bit, but persists a little at the end. Off-dry to sweet. Overall, I liked this wine. It's a bit simple, but hits the right notes.
