January 21, 2024 - Deep, red colour with a bit of a purple edge. Green pepper, dark fruits and a touch of mushroom on nose. Smooth mouthfeel. Still quite tight and primary - dark fruits, tannins with a little bit of oak at the end. Medium to long finish. Nice wine but needs more time. Good potential.

December 26, 2023 - Good fruit, still some primary notes. Great balance and mild tannins. Still capacity for some more years.

May 29, 2023 - Le TCA a encore frappé. Dommage, il y avait de la finesse qui semblait transparaître dans la matière costaud.

December 9, 2022 - Coravin fun - Belgrave & Brane Cantenac (My place, Kent Street): From Coravin. Brambles, a little black cherry, plums, sweet spice, blackcurrant, polished oak...still quite a primary nose. Juicy tending to medium plus intensity acidity, quite savoury dark fruits on the palate, slightly coarsely textured tannins, fruit persists with non-intrusive alcohol warmth, a little minty underpin, long but time required. Okay.

September 22, 2022 - Tasted after a six hour decant.
Dark ruby in colour with lovely aromas of sweet black fruit, earth, chocolate & cedar.
On the palate, medium bodied juicy black fruit, blackberry/boysenberry/cassis, oak as cedar, slightly earthy, high acidity, high soft tannins with a long finish to juicy blackberry, spice & tar.
This wine is not particularly complex, but flavour is lovely.
Definitely has the structure & the acidity/tannins to cellar longer, but completely approachable now. No need to hold.
