April 12, 2020 - After about 10 years of mediocre storage, time to try this random bottle rambling around my cellar. A shock: Could have passed for a Premier Cru Côte de Nuits. Light in body for such an extraordinarily heavy bottle, but an ethereal nose --- red fruits blessed by California sunshine. If you happen to see this wine, buy it.

January 1, 2013 - really like this wine. not overly fruity - classic california pinot noir.

May 1, 2012 - Sappy pine, slightly volatile nose, raspberry reduction, brambly wood, autumn leaves, strawberry seeds. Aggressively citric palate, rawhide, tart, sodium mineral finish. Needs time to soften. Drink 2015.

April 20, 2011 - Brad popped this beautiful wine over Top Chef Masters on 4/20 - YES.
Darker masculine styled Pinot. Dark but ripe raspberries, dark cherry. Again, nice darker qualities of earth and some smoke.
Ripe robust palate. Dusty tannins; and there is some nice tannic structure. Still a really young wine. This should age well for up to seven years.
