Community Tasting Notes 6

  • corkscrews Does not like this wine: 70 points

September 19, 2013 - I have nothing good to say about this wine, overpriced at $5.00…and this was a “Reserve”…..even a bad lemonade drink is better.

March 23, 2012 - Light golden color. Nose of honeysuckle and grass. Medium to full body with a viscous, creamy mouth feel and flavors of melon and lemon, and a little bitterness on the back end. Not very complex or interesting, but not offensive either, especially since I paid $5 for it.

March 17, 2012 - A lot of dried or candied pineapple. Very good for the price.

February 22, 2012 - Had a sip then designated this as Cooking wine.

February 15, 2012 - Decent chard. Much more French-style than Cali. Balanced with decent acidity. Some minerality. Much better than most $6 chards.
