June 23, 2018 - Perfect bottle, totally representative of Bonnes Mares, totally integrated and at its apex. Show that 91s being great for both bonnes mares and jadot is not a fluke. Big fruit with integrated soft tannins

November 23, 2013 - Jadot was really hitting it our of the ballpark in 1991. This is a perfectly mature Bonnes Mares at the height of its game. Everything is in balance, fruit, sauvage, intensity, finish. The wine seemed to disappear in our glasses

November 26, 2011 - Drinking perfectly right now, rich with the depth of Musigny and the spiciness of NSG. Gained strength after opening and needed 15 minutes to show itself.

November 11, 2007 - grand cru burgundy once a month: Lovely nose here with notes of underbrush and herbs contrasting the hightoned notes of dark fruit and spice reminding of anise. lean and taut in the mouth yet ripe if note opulent. in fact with time a touch of astringency mars the otherwise attractive spice rich midpalate with it's very pure cherry and cherry pit fruit. the finish is subtle, short and strict. This requires time to tame the structure but I am skeptical about the wines balance ever improving and dont feel enough depth of fruit to give me any long term confidence for cellaring. Enjoy these over the shorter term 2008-2011
