February 10, 2024 - Received as a gift. Opened for #tawnytuesday. I was really excited to try this one because I haven't had many white Ports. Beautiful amber color. It's gorgeous. On the nose, initial baked apple gave way to apricot, honey and citrus. On the palate, wow. This is nothing like I expected. It's dry. Like really dry. This is a Port??? Apricot, grapefruit pith and honey. That pith note almost reminds me of a gin and tonic with a twist of lemon. Insane acidity. And the honey note really adds something nice. This is really unique!!!!

January 21, 2024 - This was more like an late harvest wine, sweet and mild tasted so much better when it is chilled. I left in the fridge and finished it off over a few weeks, great as a aperitif.

November 13, 2023 - Can’t go wrong pouring everyone a glass of this distinctive port after dinner. The taut apricot, balances the sweet, slightly maderized notes well. Here in Lisbon, the kids were enjoying it with cigarettes and vapes.

July 21, 2020 - Medium amber/cognac in the glass, moderately aromatic nose with creme carmel, hazelnut, palate is dry and a bit oxidized, complex and interesting, cinnamon baked apple, apple cider, hint of citrus zest, acidity is high, hint of a constant comment tea tannin, full bodied lively mouthfeel, finish is long.

March 2, 2017 - Dalva White Vertical (P81): Lovely floral complexity with a fine sweetness. Some varnish and a medium aftertaste.
Lots of elegance and overall a good wine.
