  December 31, 2013 - Initially, primary and monolithic. With with 30-45 minutes in the glass it opened up nicely. Great balance of stone fruit, oak influence, minerals, and a bit of citrus. Medium body and finish. Went well with a variety of white-friendly foods and held up well the following days. Solid CA chard for the $.

  September 2, 2013 - PnP, served non-blind. Medium straw color, with aromas that are slow to emerge, the palate, too, is still somewhat tight. Warm cashews, nougat, red apple skin, and minerals dominate the nose, while the palate leans toward apples, pears, guava and buttered toast. Pleasurable, dry and not overdone, but will require a few more years of integration before it's at peak. 14,4% abv, drink thru 2020
