November 4, 2023 - Method: pop and pour in restaurant; universal (I think) glass; cellar temp
Nose: forest, strawberry, strawberry leaves
Palate: underripe strawberry, rhubarb; finish of rhubarb, dried herbs, forest/tree bark; dry; light+ body; medium- tannin; medium+ acidity
Update: a few hours later, this opened up a bit, showing a bit more fruit and savory notes
Overall thoughts: Elegant but not very expressive or complex. It improved after getting a good amount of air. Good wine. -

July 17, 2014 - Dinner at Galletto's (Galletto Ristorante, Modesto Ca.): Very soft for a young Pommard…..really nice cherry, raspberry fruit….bright floral spice, strawberry patch earth….a little stinky feet sulfur though that never really blew off. A little time might do wonders here.
