June 9, 2023 - Lovely mature Cornas. Who wrote the daft drinking window for this wine - pah :-) Not grand, not super Cornas, but very enjoyable. To me, slightly reminiscent of previous-generation Jaboulet. Drink up, but drinking well Lovely and - in a word - savoury. Good wine!

December 23, 2012 - Incroyablement jeune. Du mal à retrouver l'ampleur et la structure caractéristique des Cornas. Manque d'ampleur mais très soyeux au palais.

December 23, 2012 - Clear, dark, tawny red, quite a heavy deposit. Clean nose, dark fruits, smoke, pepper, black olive. Full palate, very smooth, well integrated. Medium to long finish. Drinking beautifully. It's unlikely to improve further but I don't think there is any hurry to drink up.

July 30, 2011 - Badly corked, undrinkable. I suspected the previous bottle I had of this to be affected by a cork fault (bought at the same time, same place.) Maybe these bottles were badly stored at some point before they came to me, maybe there was a poor cork batch at Jaboulet at this time - or maybe I was just unlucky. In lieu of this, I opened a 2000 instead, which was excellent.

August 4, 2010 - ripe almost stewed plum-like smell. Maybe some smoke/pepper at the begining that went into astringent fruit and a strangely acidic finish. Nice.
