  September 3, 2022 - Guava, mandarin, dried apricots in a golden unctuous liquid. The acid kick at the end brings everything into line and makes this a delicious wine. Pity it was my last bottle. Definitely ready now but can hold a while longer.

  March 23, 2017 - Very nice. 5th bottle out of 6 - by far the best showing. Time has been good for this. Nicely balanced out now.

  August 29, 2015 - Honeyed, pineapple, sweet pea, alfalfa nose with some apricot that often comes from this level of concentration. Faintly petrolly, some aloe lotion and fruity olive oil too too. Really generously aromatic. Viscous and moderately sweet palate, medium to low acid, with a peppery bite of bright green olive oil. Sweetly fruited with a freshening green streak, really tasty, hard to describe apart from saying "superconcentrated Gruner soul". I'm not sure what you'd serve this with but it's good all by itself.

  March 30, 2014 - Viscous, syrupy pear and floral notes. Initial (unappealing) petrol nose dissipated and gave way to heady sweet floral nose. Lightly golden in color. I wonder if my bottle had been mishandled a little. It lacked in the expected depth and complexity.

  June 6, 2013 - Robe légèrement dorée. Nez fumé, un peu fermentaire...9,5% d'alcool. En bouche, fruit jaune mûr, abricot surtout. Etonnante longueur en finesse.
