May 29, 2011 - The first red wine from Sardegna for me. The wine decanted for 2 hours. This is a combination of Carignano & Sangiovese. Ruby red colour. The nose is pleasant with cherries blue berries and pepper.

This wine is fullbodied red with very long aftertaste with a hint of chokolade. High acidity and dry and little hot finish.

At this age, this wine is definately a food wine for grilled red meat and game. Long decanting time highly recommened.

At 10€ price range, a good, solid wine similar to some Nero D'avolas from the neighbour island.
