March 23, 2020 - Tannins silky smooth, fruit still evident, overall a VERY smooth drinker still....definitely peaking and on its way to the other side. Still many months left here....again, proper cellaring proves to be the winning basic here.

January 29, 2020 - Pleasantly surprised....upon opening, still wound very tight. Changed dramatically in the glass with strong tannins still present. Thought it might have just been done...left on counter overnight. After 24 hours open (1/2 bottle) i tried....WOW! Silky smooth and drinking beautifully.

February 12, 2017 - drinking silky smooth just now.......definitely in its window lasting another 2-3 years. Opulent, dark and brooding right to the rim. Gorgeous bouquet........long finish

January 23, 2017 - definitely benefitted from a good 10 year aging.....mouthfeel was just perfect! Super dark color, bits of leather, tobacco and dark super ripe stone fruit all over this one. It was a wow wine with a good handful of years left in the tank!
