August 15, 2017 - The feral whiff of wild yeasts. Hard candy interpretations of blueberry, elderberry, and cassis. Smoke and charred meat. Lots of strong acidity. Definitely cold climate Sonoma Syrah.

April 4, 2015 - Purple center with a violet rim. Plummy, dark cherry, smoked meat, and pepper on the medium intensity nose. The palate provides candied cherry and spice. The acidity in this medium-bodied wine supports the fruit well. Overall, this wine is moderate in intensity and fruit with good acidity. It is pleasant but not memorable.

September 8, 2014 - Decanted about 30 mins. Light purple, youthful color. Aromatic dark fruit, florals. High toned, peppery, red fruit, nice acid, a bit light bodied and wish it had just a bit more weight and flesh on the mid palate and a tad longer finish. Solid and food friendly. Perhaps needs time?
