February 12, 2021 - Tasted side by side 2005. 2005 way more approachable. Time will tell which is better, but Tannins certainly have chilled more in the 2005

September 20, 2016 - 2016 Port Harvest Tour; 9/18/2016-9/25/2016 (Portugal): Dark purple in color. Some red fruit notes (raspberry and strawberry) on the palate. Extremely balanced and drinkable now, with pleasant spirit, tannins and fruit.

September 3, 2011 - Characteristic violets on the nose. Great intensity of raspberry and red fruit, yielding to some amazingly structured tannins on the mid-palate. Intense fruit returns on the very long finish.
