April 30, 2024 - Very elegant wine. Almost perfectly balanced (my experienced friend told me that it is too balanced). Anyhow, drinks beautifully now, and will be for the next 10-20 years, for sure. Maybe, I would rate it as the top burgundy wine, if we consider price/quality (along with 2005 Bouchard's Cailleretes).

April 14, 2024 - This showed well. DD at 1 pm prior to consumption. Ripe, rich and tasty.

April 4, 2024 - the most recent prior note said it very well... this could have 1-2 pts upside with more time... (by Guan Yu) "Dark ruby red with pink rim. Redcurrant, unripe raspberry, dark cherry, wood, spices, baguette, and earth. Medium-full bodied, medium-high acidity, medium-high tannin, medium-high structure, medium alcohol and long finish. Complex, dense and refined. Fruits were still fresh despite the bottle age. Ready to enjoy now, and would probably improve in 5-10 years when more tertiary notes develop."

March 14, 2024 - Tasted at a school fundraiser La Paulee. Dark ruby red with pink rim. Redcurrant, unripe raspberry, dark cherry, wood, spices, baguette, and earth. Medium-full bodied, medium-high acidity, medium-high tannin, medium-high structure, medium alcohol and long finish. Complex, dense and refined. Fruits were still fresh despite the bottle age. Ready to enjoy now, and would probably improve in 5-10 years when more tertiary notes develop.

February 4, 2024 - 2010 Was a Good Vintage in France (Jordan's Place - Chicago IL): Open 3 hours with splash decant. Elefant and completely charming, this is wonderfully accessible low with so much more in reserve.
