February 29, 2024 - Pretty good - not complex but has a nice brightness to it. Drinking well.

    February 13, 2024 - Tasted over 2 hrs
    -dark purple no bricking
    -smoked meat vinyl sous bois
-med- acidity, med weight juicy if somewhat faded boysenberry plum liqueur some earthiness refreshing salinity and a faint tar element on the finish along with the med- tannins
-boy you can tell this comes from a ripe vintage with the color the flavor profile and lower acidity yet it avoids flabbiness as it is in full maturity

December 31, 2023 - What an absolutely splendid wine! Eric Asimov has described a great Bourgogne Rouge as having "weightless intensity" and I will use his words to begin telling the story of the taste of this truly fine wine of contemplation from Louis Barruol and Kermit Lynch. IThe KL web site says it is 100% 30-50 yo Syrah. True elegance. Another word to name the taste is clarity. The taste rings -- like a bell. Or, as its name tells us -- the look of a rose. Nothing quite like this!

June 23, 2021 - Took over an hour of decanting before started opening up, but then tasted very smooth and velvety. Not much fruit left and should be consumed soon.

June 13, 2021 - Prominent barnyard but not to the point of flaw, lean and acid plus especially considering the vintage
