September 30, 2016 - Nice perfume, spice, and fruit on the nose. Pure and clean with good focus with bluer fruit that seems MSD in origin. I like the clarity and focus here . This is a very pleasurable light to mid weighted pinot with focus, freshness and enough complexity to keep it interesting. Overall, fine balance, with nothing standing out, a terribly drinkable wine with a fine mix of fruit, earth and spice. A very fine Bourgogne. 88pts

April 6, 2015 - Very open and showing well. Translucent ruby color. Great perfume. pure fruit attack with good structure carrying the wine through the very long finish. An excellent bottle of wine. This was opened and poured with no decant. With previous bottles I have had of this wine it does not show as well on day 2 and in this case again after a night in the refrigerator the wine was left with the bones of the structure but the wonderful perfume was absent.

April 6, 2015 - Nice entry level Burgundy. Nose is classic with red berry fruit, animale, earth, and minerality. The palate is fresh, not super concentrated or deep, but quite pleasant and good for the level. Overall quite tasty and a reasonable value for current Burgundy prices.

April 2, 2015 - Flawed, had an overpowering vegetal/glue component. Didn't seem like cork taint, but was clearly off.

January 1, 2015 - grace and power, complexity. and so, so enjoyable. it's time like these that i mourn that Burgundy prices have increased so much.
