    June 30, 2020 - Nice but stewed/cooked (WineBid) on opening. Needed 30 mins to settle in. Was definitely a decent burgundy but pretty plain otherwise--acidity good, body medium-light, hints of fruit, stone, mineral.

    October 13, 2015 - PopnPour, tasted over 2 hrs
    -med red with minimal bricking
    -moderately aromatic nice melange of crisp red fruit with a bit of funk and minerality
    -med acidity is just enough to give some verve, med- weight but good depth, a bit of rustic earthiness mixed in with slightly creamy dark red fruits dominate the mid-palate, med/med+ intensity fine tannins noticeable on the reasonably long finish
    -a very pleasant if not overly serious red Burg impressive for its level and appellation, drinking very well now but don't expect many more years of positive development

    July 29, 2014 - Nose of dry vanilla bean. Palate shows cherry, rough tannins, medium body. Finish of chives?C;

  • Cote d'Or Likes this wine:

    December 2, 2012 - PopnPour, tasted over 2 hours and on Day 2
    -dark opaque red/purple
    -reticent, black cherry
    -med acidity, med concentration and weight, med+ chalky tannins, fairly simple dark fruits and a touch of Gevrey-like earth
    -less expressive than a year ago. On the rustic side but more refined than usual as a vintage effect. This should improve over the next 2-5 years as the tannins settle down and it opens up again. Call it a DRAW for now.
