October 27, 2017 - fruit is starting to fade, but still quite nice. med+ acidity and tons of red sour cherry.

May 9, 2016 - Raspberries, some cherries, some dried fruit. Medium body. Beautiful bouquet into a luscious mid palate and a long finish. Not to be trite, but it just tasted so good that it made you smile. Very Burgundian. Very good friendly. One of the best Ponzi Reserves I've ever tasted. Truly a major league Pinot Noir.

December 18, 2014 - Light-to-medium bodied; tart and cherry flavored. Tasted more CA than Willamette Valley.

October 24, 2013 - Crimson appearance fading to pink on the edges. Earthy aromas of red berry fruit, leather, pencil lead, and florals. The medium-bodied palate is smooth, crisp, and deceptively rich in cherry and black raspberry flavors. This has a quiet depth and complexity, with a back note of Asian spice that shifts to graphite on the warm, spicy finish.

August 2, 2013 - Willamette Valley Oregon Trip 4 & 1/2 Days; 7/29/2013-8/4/2013 (Willamette Valley, Oregon): Hot, spice, warm, This was undrinkable as it was. Dumped. If I have to score it, <80pts. Is this another overly ripe, over the top 2009?
