June 8, 2016 - Monthly Tasting Group HWS #110; Blind Tasting Riesling Germany vs Alsace (France) (by MM): Bouquet with honey and ripe yellow fruits like mango and peach. On the palate apricots, honey, some petrol, beautiful acidity and elegant sweetness. Ready now.

April 15, 2016 - Beautiful bright, medium golden colour. Developed, keroseney nose, creamy, touch of honey, underlying ripe apple and peach. Medium bodied, creamy, kerosene, stone and apple fruit, fresh acids, very good length gently creamy finish. Fully mature and time to drink up.

August 1, 2013 - Beginning and ending in Veneto: Golden yellow. In the nose, this is fascinating with slight notes reminiscent of Botrytis (honey, ginger), some tangerine and fully ripe apple. On the palate, it's got razor sharp acidity, but a very creamy mouthfeel at the same time. It's still quite fresh and finishes with slightly bitter and spicy notes. With air and temperature, this gets better and better and the finish becomes more harmonic. Good time to drink it now, but no hurry.

May 4, 2013 - Petroleum, bergamott, peaches, minerals, peaches, ripe apples on the nose. Tastes like a sweet wine but dry; exotic fruits, peach ripe apples, decent acidity left but should be drunk within a few years. Seems to not develop to well in the glass.

January 3, 2012 - Excellent wine. Evolved but rather less than I had expected on the basis of a couple of TNs here. Nice showing.
