August 29, 2023 - Cabernet and friends: A blend of 30% Petit Verdot, 25% Syrah, 25% Cabernet Sauvignon, 20% Merlot. Attractive cassis and plum nose. Cedar, graphite and plum flavours with a five-spice note on the finish that some felt was almost medicinal/cough syrup in character, there are still some persistent grippy tannins, good length.

October 21, 2021 - Should wait a bit longer for my remaining bottle. I see others say its fully mature, I am not sure. Did not find the secondary notes I would expect if so. This needed a decant, my bad for not doing so. It also was drunk following the L’Apparita, which was a tough act to follow. Firm, still tannic, a bit on the austere side, expect better to come.
