Community Tasting Notes 5

May 10, 2013 - - Violet color. It's balanced with a medium body. Round texture with a medium finish - Wow!!! Great Oregon Pinot.. If you love Pinots you will not regret this one as it is a top 5 for me. Strong aroma from the beginning of cork popping!!

March 7, 2013 - Willamette Valley Wines presents: Pinot in the City (City Winery, Chicago, IL): Nose: There is an upfront quality with plush tones of berries, cherries, baking spices, and plum tones. While the fruit is attractive, it's lacking some depth.

Taste: Medium/full bodied with medium acidity. The feel is smooth and plush with tones of berries, red cherries, and baking spices.

Overall: This is a nice and plush pinot. It does lack some depth, but the fruit is good and upfront right now.

November 22, 2012 - A good pinot for the price but have definitely found better value. Lacked the unmistakeable flair that I love in great Oregon Pinots.

May 12, 2012 - loved the nose on this. Beautiful spice, earth, cherry, Those components followed well into the palate but the wine finished a tad green for my likes. At the price I'll buy and drink again.
