October 16, 2012 - Enticing waves of red fruit on the nose. None of the overbearing oak I've found on other bdx recently. The palate is again more oriented toward red fruit, while remaining unmistakeably a bdx. It's smooth, well balanced, though lacking the complexity, concentration and velvet texture you'd expect from the grand vin. A very enjoyable well-made wine in a style I like. Glad I picked up a couple of bottles of his big bro. Nothing to be gained from cellaring - drink now.

September 10, 2011 - Showing well now, delicious red from Pessac-Leognan or red Graves. Typical, with darkness, friendly deep fruit, balance and some structure, tannins very much in check. Light coffee, very light smoke, over humid earth, with that signature Bordeaux note at the end. Some have said more modern, perhaps a touch. A nice second label that is compelling and friendly now. I am happy with it for the price.
