    December 15, 2022 - At peak !! Like a baby Châteauneuf-du-Pape !!
I agree with my note of just over two months ago. Consumed at dinner with friends, A delightful experience for all. I only wish I had more remaining in my cellar.

October 3, 2022 - Amazingly good and in a really great spot !!
Consumed with friends alongside other great Rhone varietals. Perfect cork after over a decade in the bottle. Dark burgundy color with no evidence of oxidation, clarity medium. Aromas of blackberry, cherry, and Garrique. Flavors of rhubarb, black cherry, and rose hips with a hint of licorice with a long finish. A very balanced flavorful Rhone blend of 87% Syrah, 10% Mourvèdre, and 3% Grenache from Willow Creek District of Paso Robles in the Central Coast. This is an age worthy wine with more years of life left, fortunately I still have one bottle of this vintage remaining in my cellar. Great fruit and a great winemaking effort by Matt Trevisan.

December 21, 2021 - Decanted 4 hours. Tasted along side 2009 Saxum Jane's Berry. Deep ruby color. Still had plenty of life in it, but it's just about perfect right now. Dark cherry, licorice, pepper flavors on the palate. Served with grilled beef. Fan favorite of the evening. With decant, perfectly smooth, integrated, great balance of fruit and acidity.

October 21, 2021 - Nose of crushed red berry, some violet. Great balance of delicate black raspberry, red cherry with some subtle spice on the finish. Very refined, still with solid tannic structure.

September 25, 2020 - 11 years old and riding strong on Paso acid. May be prime, but certainly not past it.
