June 22, 2006 - Tasted at the domaine. Francois opened this to end a great tasting of his 2004s and a few 2005s from barrel. Full, mature nose of honey, butterscotch, faint mushroom. Broad and expressive on the palate, with thick, rich botterscotch and honey. Nice detail. Very nice.

October 12, 2004 - Excellent wine! One of the best 97's I've had. Very pure terroir driven nose and the theme continues on the palate. Very refined and silk like in it's texture with a deceptively powerful finish.
