December 4, 2020 - Sadly somewhat off. Quite stewed / as if it had heat damage. Sourced via Ovinia and my track record with wines from them is terrible - beware.

    October 15, 2018 - 3/6, excellent cork.
Medium garnet core, pale garnet rim. Aromatic, youthful nose, bilberry, black cherry, perfumed, floral. Touch of meat with time in glass. No more than medium bodied on the palate, elegant, refined tannins, purple fruits, lovely purity, a touch of earthy/meaty complexity but young like the palate, lovely vibrant acids, very good length lightly grippy finish. Lovely, plenty of time in hand.

June 30, 2018 - Musique & Vin Festival BYO Dinner with Musicians (1243 Bourgogne Society - Beaune): Small glass, brief note. Dense and very meaty start with a more elegant finish. More black > red fruit. Good weight and length.

April 19, 2013 - Pale/medium garnet core, pale garnet rim. Earthy but perfumed plum and black cherry fruit, notes of spice. Medium bodied on the palate, autumnal fruit, earth, quite structured with fine but still quite firm underlying tannins, lovely tongue-tingling acidity, savoury game on the very good length finish. Excellent, no hurry.

April 29, 2010 - 1998 Burgundy Grand Crus - Confrerie des Chevaliers du Tastevin Singapore, Chapitre de la Printemps (Harbour Grill, Hilton Hotel): This was really good as well. Tight nose, which opened up ever so slightly to show some sappy red fruit, high-tone flowers and a nice natural sweetness. Palate was far better. Lovely red fruit. Very sappy, very pure, still young and primary, but the quality was clear, as was the very fine balance and the firm but fine structure that undergirded the fruit. Plenty of strength past the mid-palate too - much more so than many of the wines on display, so much so that I may not have guessed this as a 1998 served blind. A touch of herbs right at the back-end framed a finish of red fruit and spice. Very nice indeed.
