Fine nose of red raspberry, flowers, spice, a touch of oak and vanilla. Still very young with tight but attractive tannins, good persistence and length, and a long tight and evolving finish. Still too young but lots of upside from here. Wait on other bottles -

June 10, 2021 - 黑莓、黑李子的成熟果味，甘草、香草、焦油，香气奔放而有层次，绽放得颇为优雅。入口后的集中度出色，单宁丰富、细密而有抓力，整体风格工整、方正、宽广，品质极佳。时而忽然变得缥缈的香气，则为它额外平添了一丝个性，让它达到了更高一层境界。

September 13, 2016 - Clearly has that Gaja fingerprint - vanilla oak, cinnamon, blackberries and raspberries on the nose. Beautiful and complex in the mouth, fine grainy tannins, midpalate lift, tight and dense. Feels a lot more polished and worked than most other Barolo and Barbaresco, however the quality as a wine is undeniable. Had a Sori San Lorenzo 1998 a few weeks ago and this Costa Russi is made from the same template.
