  November 14, 2021 - I got these to drink early and lost this one in the cellar. The fruit has retreated a bit as has the oak, but there’s still a moderate toasty element. Just hasn’t developed any complexity. Smooth polished effort without depth.

  May 13, 2020 - - Garnet color and aromas of black pepper, rose, blackberry and bell pepper and has flavours of dusty and almond - Surprisingly fresh for its age.

  March 17, 2019 - paired well with sheppards pie on St. Patrick's Day. Decanted for an hour. Cassis, blue berry fruits with plenty of sweet and balanced tannins for this meal. Surprised since I thought it was near the end of life. Last bottle in cellar.

  December 25, 2018 - paired well with smoked prime rib for christmas day feast. decanted for 1.5 hours. black fruits that feel soft and silky. outstanding.
