January 9, 2023 - Dunkles Bernstein. Hochelegant. www.vvwine.ch

January 28, 2019 - demerits for QPR. This is not cheap Sauternes. That being said, I echo previous notes. Orange bordering on brownish in color. White flower aromas on the nose. I'd recommend consuming this in whisky snifter glasses by the way. Coats the glass--very leggy. Apricot, marmalade on the palate. Sweet on entry and a touch of tartness on exit. I'd suggest drinking up. Perhaps I missed the prime? No regrets. You only live once!

May 12, 2018 - A beautiful but not overbearing Sauternes. Fabulous orange color and absolutely clear in the glass. Candied apricot, peach and light touch of mango, along with some brown sugar and the slightest edge of clove. If you’re looking for Yquem type intensity you’ve come to the wrong place. This is delicate, light, not overly sweet, but very precise. Drink up; it’s not going to get better.

May 20, 2017 - Much better and more interesting than anticipated, the sweet, orange and tropical fruits had loads of lift, length and complexity. Fully mature, this is great with, or as dessert.

September 11, 2011 - The color of molasses. Lighter-bodied and quite elegant with a lovely complex, entirely Sauternes flavor of brown spices and charred wood. Very ready.
