November 13, 2022 - Pretty good. Still drinking well. I wouldn’t kick it out of bed for eating crackers either. Perfectly paired for a roast haunch of venison and some Comte afterwards. Bramble, cigar box, and luscious fruit.

March 30, 2019 - Maybe bottle variation, but this one is quite nice, no vegetal here, balanced; subtle nose; Bordeaux briar patch, leather, but not green bell; dark cherries, chocolate background and aftertaste; probably past its peak but still a good food wine, wouldn’t kick it out of bed for eating crackers.

June 27, 2017 - Tasted after the excellent 2001. Vegetal nose, green, musty, herbal. Not much better on the palate - not very harmonious, lacking fruit and generousity, acidity is quite sharp, coarse tannins. 84-86
