March 16, 2017 - Nice color. The nose shows aromas of citrus, wet stone, minerals and a hint of white flowers. This is medium full bodied on the palate with very good concentration and real class. The fairly long finish features steely acidity and a mineral element.

March 10, 2017 - Tasted at large walkaround tasting. Lots of citrus on this, with lemon-lime. Mineral really comes in on the midpalate, and this has a great freshness on it. Nice light ginger note.

March 10, 2017 - La Paulée de New York: Vertical Tasting (Rainbow Room - New York NY): Tasting, brief note. Ripe start with lemon, lemon curd and lemon peel. Maybe some lime there as well. Same flavors with apple as well and salty, flinty mineral textures. My favorite of the vertical for now, and favorite for the cellar. 94-95 point potential, now-2025.

February 8, 2017 - (Mostly white Burgundy) Dinner at Nico Osteria (Chicago, IL): I've maintained that Fevre did exceptionally well in 2010, and this bottle is a case in point. This has all the hallmarks that I'm looking for in chardonnay -- it's crisp, but simultaneously rich and sappy. There's plenty of smoke and minerality here, and the acidity is the driving force, with tons of tart white fruit that leaves your mouth watering.

January 16, 2017 - Phenomenal nose of white flowers, peach, apple, and nutmeg. Silky texture with medium acidity, meyer lemon, and granny smith apple notes on the palate. Long finish. Fantastic!
