    August 18, 2018 - **

A wine with some real character. Very dark red, almost muddy color with a nose of dark cherries. The palate features dark cherries, it is slightly sweet and slightly green around the edges. More CA than OR style. Very good length and balance. Heavier than Patricia Green Cellars and not so elegant, but it grows on you. Fully mature IMO, but should have quite a few good years left.

April 23, 2016 - Whites and Oregon Pinots w/ a Sauternes Kicker (Rocknroller's (Kevin & Vicki's Place)): Dark red color. PNP, drank 1 glass over an hour. Black cherry, spicebox, and sauvage on the nose. The palate is dense, full bodied, ripe black cherry, dark plum, spice character, long, shows some heat though. A nice drink, and one that maybe can last a couple years more. 91+pts.

January 28, 2015 - Jubilee cherries and licorice on nose. Darker on palate and a touch sweeter than I expect from OR. Would have guessed RRV.

November 20, 2014 - I drank a bottle last January that was bad so I was hesitant to uncork another bottle from my cellar (55 degrees).

This bottle was equally bad. Very feint cherries on the front end followed by generic cola and then minerality. Could not drink it. I'll call the vineyard and see if they will do a make good. I still have two bottles of this nasty stuff left.
