Community Tasting Notes 2

December 21, 2013 - An outstanding dry red blend (chiefly Tempranillo) from the Toro DO aged in oak 6 months yielding complex blackberry fruit smells in the glass, strong legs (14% alcohol), and good balance in the mouth after decanting and breathing for an hour.

March 1, 2011 - 6 mos. in barrel; red label (black for non-oak version). Fairly appealing, kind of juicy. Oak integrated better than a lot of the medium-tier wines tasted today that had a bit of a plastic feel.
