August 26, 2022 - Fruits rouges et noirs, épicé, bouche puissante un peu sur la retenue, le fruit est la mais pas à l’avant, encore très jeune et aurait bénéficié d’une carafe. 92-93

Red and black fruit, spices, the palate is still powerful but not showing the fruit too forward, still very young but should have been decanted but was P&P.

August 23, 2022 - Lots of red fruit on the attack with spices. Well made wine. Remained rustic quite a bit and was not really charming. For the price this was not great

September 13, 2013 - Popped and pour with Bison burgers and tomato salad. Wow. Hell of a wine. Great depth and minerality with a dense Meo fruit profile. While dense and rich not course like many Cortons. Really what a young burgundy should be with great balance. Glad I have more and loaded up on Meo in 2010.

July 13, 2011 - France 2011 - Côte d'Or; 7/8/2011-7/13/2011 (Beaune): Tasted at the Domaine. From barrel. Another beauty nose of deep and pure pinot fruit with hints of meat and minerality. Great intensity in the mouth with tons of fruit and more weight and masculinity than the Echezeaux. A long and persistent finish with quite a bit of tannic structure. This isn’t as pretty as the Echezeaux. I like this a lot but will need a long sleep before primetime drinking. (91-94).
