March 22, 2004 - Medium ruby color, nice nose of dried fruit with cherries leading the pack. First mouthful is a burst of soft fruit, then it hits the back of your throat with an unexpectedly long finish. Very nice! Haven't had this in a year and a half. Like welcoming an old friend for before dinner drinks. My last bottle of this vintage. Will be looking to try what is on the retail shelf now.
