May 25, 2004 - This was too soon to be drinking this but curiosity once again got the better of me. No specific notes, just general impressions. Although very primary, this was perfectly open and enjoyable right out of the bottle, although it was best after 4-5 hours in the decanter. This is a delicious fruit-forward syrah with very prominent dark fruit notes along with some spice and game notes. Can't wait to try another with a year or two of bottle age.
