    December 3, 2015 - Savory

January 25, 2007 - At home w Jackie & David with Scallops and Cheese. Pleasant, quaffable, but unimpressive. Has not developed any complexity, and seems at or past its peak. Overpriced. Bought it and the 98 because of RP's rave review. Will not buy again.

July 2, 2003 - hard to imagine that this wine has virtually no presence on this board. miniscule production, low profile, superb wine. a quintessential expression of the grape. rich, flavorful, well-integrated oak, mild tannin, perfectly balanced, delicious to drink. red berries predominanate, and a beautiful finish. $55 from the mailing list. my reference point pinot. closest wine i've had to it is the loring clos pepe, but i feel this is a multi-layered more exotic wine. only 2 more 750's and a magnum left in my cellar. irresistable!
