Community Tasting Notes 3

September 6, 2014 - A valid extension of my previous notes. Uber fun wine and a reference point for mid weight BV grenache. Just starting to tail.

July 19, 2013 - Fun wine. Bit part stinky, prunes, chilli and soy. Not terribly big or long but really pleasant. A little bristling acid to finish.

January 25, 2012 - Pours and smells very typical Barossa grenache; blood / plum red and a nose of ripe lifted red fruits with a hint of stone. Palate is not at all heavy and the mineral and acid really lifts the wine nicely. Fruit is still very fresh and lifted but some pong points to both the variety and perhaps just the faintest touch of dead fruit. Will get a little better but not much.
